Anna Gale, 80, Akron, died Monday, Aug. 22, 1977, in the Akron Community hospital after an illness of several weeks.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Patrick's Catholic church, Akron. Rev. Stanley. R. Stone and Rev. J . P . Coyle will celebrate the mass. Burial will be in Calvary cemetery, Le Mars, under the direction of Luedtke funeral home.

Friends may call at the parish hall in Akron after 3 p.m. Wednesday. Rosary, will be at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Anna Harms was born March 11, 1897, near Akron to Heinrich and Sophia Harms. She married Earl Gale at Akron Nov. 26, 1917. She was a member of St. Patrick's Altar society and the Akron American Legion auxiliary.

Survivors are her husband Earl; one daughter, LaVada of Akron; two sons, Jack of Vermillion and Arden of Iowa City; four grandsons and two great-grandsons.
