James Crouch Rites Held in Cut Bank (Montana) on April 12

James Stuart Crouch, 79, passed away Sat. April 7, 1973, at 10:25 a.m. in Memorial Hospital from natural causes. He had been ill for a year.

The deceased was born Aug. 30, 1893, in Potosia, Iowa, and they came to Cut Bank in 1942.

Survivors include four sons, Robert and Joe of Cut Bank, John of Denver, and Bill of Havre; five daughters, Mae Farrel of Clancey, Mont., Ida Jacoby, Waneta Grosser and Mary Novak of Cut Bank and Shirley Cummings of Hollaman AFB, New Mexico; 23 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one brother, Jack of Cherokee, Iowa and one sister, Effie Schuh, of Sioux City, Iowa.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 12, at 2 p.m. in Burns Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Schneuker officiating and burial will be in Crown Hill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Greg Grosser, Scott Grosser, Jack Crouch, Bill Crouch, Bob Jacoby and Jerry Alsager. Honorary pallbearers will be Ronnie Alsager, Mike Novak, Dan Novak, Laurence Grosser and Brian Novak.
