Leonard James Welch

Leonard James Welch, 63, of Harwood, Texas, formerly of Plymouth county, Iowa, died Jan. 27, 1996, in Texas.

Services were held Jan. 30 at St. Mary's Catholic Church in String Prarie, Texas, with Father Clyde Holtman officiating. Burial was in St. Mary's Catholic cemetery under the direction of Seydler-Hill Funeral Home, Gonzales, Texas.

Mr. Welch was born in Plymouth county Aug. 29, 1932, to James Frances "Frank" and Lucille (Lowe) Welch. He married Lois Darlene Mook Aug. 29, 1953, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church In Akron, Iowa.

Survivors include his wife. Lois of Harwood; his mother. Lucille L. Welch of Akron; two brothers. Eugene F. Welch of Nebraska and Bernard L. Welch of Akron.
