Obituary

Herman Mohlman

Herman Mohlman, 93, died March 28 at the Pipestone county hospital, Pipestone, Minn.

He was born Jan. 31, 1876 at Reepsholt, Germany, and was married May 22, 1902, to Ida Sophia Lemcke in Plymouth county.

He farmed in the Akron area for several years, then moved to a farm in the Pipestone area. In 1937 he moved to his present home in Pipestone.

He is survived by one son, George Mohlman, Merrill; four daughters, Mrs. Ed (Marie) Erks, Pipestone; Mrs. Albert (Clara) Kruger, Holland, Minn.; Mrs. Arthur (Minnie) Pollock, Garden Grove, Calif., and Mrs. Ben (Hilda) Gaudian, Pipestone; 15 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and one sister.

He was preceded in death by his wife in 1966, his parents, three brothers, three sisters, two sons and a daughter.

Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul Lutheran church. Interment was in New Woodlawn cemetery, Pipestone.
