Miss Olive Agnes

Miss Olive Agnes, 86, of Milwaukee, is., formerly of Akron, died June 7, 1982, at Milwaukee, after a short illness.

Services were held at the Jesu Catholic church in Milwaukee and then brought to Akron for services and burial. The Akron services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday, June 12 in St. Patrick's Catholic church. The Rev. Stanley Stone officiated. Burial was in St. Joseph cemetery under the directions of Schroeder funeral home in Akron.

Miss Agnes was born January 27, 1896 to Mary Ann and Matthew Agnes in Akron. She spent her growing up years in Akron. She was employed as a telephone operator while in Akron, and worked in the government office of the NBA in Sioux City before moving to Milwaukee where she worked as a receptionist and switchboard operator for Marquette University, until her retirement. Her life was a full life of caring for and doing things for others. She was loved so much by all who knew her.

She is survived by two sisters, Sister Mary St. Matthew, Dubuque and Rose Hoffman of Washington, D.C. and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers and five sisters.
