Note: It says he came to this country at age 16. I found a small mention of him coming to visit his sister in 1911, so I estimated that he was born in 1895. I included his sister's married name in the surname list for family members.

Word has been received by relatives here of the death of Harold Lunde of San Diego, Calif. Mr. Lunde dropped dead on Wednesday evening. The news came as a great shock because he had not been in poor health.

Mr. Lunde was born in Norway and came to this country when 16 years of age. He engaged in farm work around Akron and Mr. and Mrs. Lunde later farmed for themselves in this vicinity and later he worked as a carpenter in Akron. He also was a World War veteran, serving in France for several months.

About six years ago Mr. and Mrs. Lunde moved to San Diego and operated a trailer court there.

He is survived by his wife, A!ta, and one sister, Mrs. Ole Silkebakken, of Akron, and other relatives in Norway. Mrs. Lunde planned to bring the body here for burial, but the shock of Mr. Lunde's death was so great, that she was unable to travel, so burial took place in San Diego on Saturday.
