Note: Some obituaries spell the wife's maiden name as Lovel and others Lovell.

Allie Mount, 91, Sioux City, died early Tuesday, April 26, 1977 at his home.

Services were held Friday at the W. Harry Christy funeral home in Morningside. The Rev. John M. Braden, associate pastor of Grace United Methodist church officiated, with burial in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Mount was born July 21, 1885 at Dandridge, Tenn. He moved to Kansas City, Mo., in 1901 and later the same year moved to the Sioux City area where he farmed. He moved to Sioux City in 1944 and worked for the Steffen Truck Body Co., retiring in 1950. He married the former Bertha Lovell of Westfield, Nov. 14, 1905 in Elk Point. He was of Baptist faith.

Survivors include the widow; four sons, John of Chokio, Minn., Charley and Manuel, both of Sioux City, and James of Lawton; two daughters, Mrs. Clementine Hummel of Richland, S.D,, and Mrs. Bertha Green, of Sioux City; 21 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.
