James O. Mount, 62, Phoenix, Ariz., former Sioux City resident, died Thursday (July 15,1982) in a hospital in Phoenix after a brief illness. Graveside services were Friday at Glendale (Ariz.) Memorial cemetery.

Mr. Mount was born Nov. 24,1919, at Akron. He lived in the Akron and Westfield area before moving to Sioux City.

Survivors are his wife, Mercedes; three sons, Jerry of North Sioux City, Richard of Hinton and David of Phoenix; one daughter. Mrs. James (Jean) Hortoreas of Phoenix; three brothers, Charlie and Manuel, both of Sioux City, and John of Chokio, Minn.; two sisters, Mrs. Clementine Hummel of Richland, S.D. and Bertha Greene of Sioux City and two grandchildren.
