Sandra D. Lucero, 50, of Sioux Center, Iowa passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 at Mercy Medical Center in Sioux City, Iowa.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011 at the Carlsen Funeral Home in Le Mars, Iowa with Reverend Casey Kleeman of the Le Mars Church of Christ officiating. Sandra D. Aragon was born August 5, 1961 at Albuquerque, New Mexico to Felix and Josephine (Urban) Aragon. She received her education in New Mexico. For the last 9 years, Sandra has lived in Sioux Center and worked production for Center Fresh Egg Company. Due to declining health concerns the past summer, Sandra had to stop working. She was engaged to be married to Antonio Vazquez. Sandra enjoyed dancing and making people smile. She will be remembered for her outgoing personality and sense of humor.

She is survived by her mother, Josephine Quintanilla of Oregon, New Mexico; 7 children: Juliet Lucero of Albuquerque, NM, Marilyn Lucero of Ruthton, MN, Bonita Hernandez of Le Mars, IA, Sandra Lucero of Le Mars, IA, Robert Lucero of Tyler, MN, Vanessa Lucero of Le Mars, and Felix Jose Aragon of Ruthton, MN; 10 grandchildren; and a sister, Marilyn Bennett and her husband Randy of Luidoso, NM.

She was preceded in death by her father.
