Lee Brewer Fodness, 5 year old son of Mr. and Mrs. Jerry (Charlotte) Fodness of Beresford, drowned Thursday (July 27, 1978) at a Beresford swimming pool.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Monday in St. John Lutheran Church at Akron. Rev. James Sandvik officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Akron. A prayer servicer was conducted at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at the Wass Funeral Home, Beresford. Lee was born Jan. 13, 1973 at Le Mars.

Survivors in additon to his parents are a brother, Bradley at home; maternal grandparents, Eugene Brewer of Elk Point and Mrs. Marlys Brewer of Akron; and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bernard Fodness of Beresford.
