Alfred (Bob) Witt, 65, Hawarden died January 25 at the Hawarden hospital.

Funeral services were held Monday, January 29 at the Trinity Lutheran church, Hawarden, with Rev. 0. F. Pittack officiating. Burial was in Grace Hill cemetery under the direction of the Dow Funeral Home.

Mr. Witt was born October 23, 1907, in Sioux county near Hawarden. He was married to Minnie Borchers, February 20, 1929 at rural Akron. He farmed in the Hawarden area all his life moving to Hawarden in 1963. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Since his retirement from the farm he operated the Witt Service Station at Hawarden.

Survivors are his wife; Duane of Hawarden; Mrs. Frank (Marlene) Buryanek of Hawarden and a sister Mrs. Peter Moeller of Hawarden and many relatives in the Akron area.
