Charles Morehead, age 53, of San Diego, Calif. died In his home May 4, 1972 after a brief illness. A Requiem Mass was celebrated at 9 a.m., May 8 in St. Didacus Romas Catholic Church in San Diego, of which he was a member.

He was a native of Akron, Iowa, a resident of San Diego 30 years, having owned an automobile agency there 22 years. He was an Army veteran of World War II.

He is survived by his widow, Patricia; two sons, David and Terry and two grandchildren of San Diego; six sisters, Mrs. Alta Korthals, Mrs. Dorothy Miller, Mrs. Madge Kellogg, all of San Diego, Mrs. Joy McCorkell of Lodi, Calif., Mrs. Alma Port and Mrs. Hope Lucken of Akron.

Entombment was in Holy Cross Mausoleum in San Diego.
