GEORGE B. KRUSE

George B. Kruse, 79, LeMars, lifelong Plymouth County resident and farmer, died unexpectedly Monday (June 17, 1991) at Sioux Falls.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Preston Township, Akron, with Rev. Stephany A. Sanborn officiating. Burial will be in the Preston Township church cemetery.

Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Wednesday with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. at the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home.

Mr. Kruse was born Nov. 19, 1911, in Grant Township, Plymouth County, to Harm H. and Anna Nannen Kruse. He married Bernadine Hartmann March 30, 1941, in Chatsworth. He was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church. Mrs. Kruse died in 1985.

Survivors are two sons, Danny Kruse and wife, Margaret, of Sioux Falls and Thomas Kruse and wife, Cynthia, of LeMars; a daughter, Candace Gray and her husband, Terry, Kansas City, Mo.; two brothers, Herman Kruse and wife, Minnie, and William Kruse and wife Alice, all of LeMars; two sisters, Edna Schubbe of Peotone, Ill., and Mildred Schulz, of LeMars; grandchildren, George and Michael Kruse of Sioux Falls; Devin and Kelly Kruse of LeMars; and Aaron, Melissa, Winston and Derek Gray, of Kansas City.
