Carmel C. Coyle, 68, formerly of Akron, died Tuesday, December 7, at a Vermillion hospital.

Funeral services were Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Akron, with Rev. Jerome Coyle officiating. Burial was in St. Joseph cemetery under direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home at Akron. Rosary was said at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday' by the Catholic Daughters of America and at 8 p.m. by the parish.

Miss Coyle was born December 26,1902, in Union county, S.D. She had lived at Akron until entering the Union county nursing home at Elk Point in 1950. She moved to the Dakota nursing home at Vermillion in
1959.

Survivors are a sister-in-law, Mrs. Everett Coyle of Akron and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
