Mrs. Adolph Dahl, age 80, of Sioux City, died at home Sunday, December 5. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. Paul Lutheran Church, rural Elk Point, the Rev. John Hopp officiated. Burial was In the church cemetery under direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home of Akron.

Pall bearers were: Philip Ofstahage, Paul Quam, Percival Peterson, Julius Wagner; Martin Albin and Russell Hanson. A prayer service was held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The former Emma Elizabeth Haynes, Mrs. Dahl was born April 16, 1891 at Omaha, Nebr. She was married September 5,1909 to Emory Lowe. To this Union one child, a daughter Lucille, was born On July 15, 1933 she was married to Adolph Dahl. They farmed north of Elk Point. Mr. Dahl died in March, 1949. She moved to Sioux City in 1950 where she was employed by St. Joseph Mercy Hospital and St. Luke's Medical Center for a number of years.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Frank (Lucille) Welch of Westfield, Iowa, three grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
