Robert M. Kempker

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. - Robert M. Kempker, 82, of Russellville, Ark., died Friday, Dec. 29, 2000, at Russellville.

Mr. Kempker was born May 1, 1918, at Carroll, Iowa, the son of John F. and Katheryn (Kerwin) Kempker.

He served as a bombardier in both World War II and the Korean War. He retired as an intelligence analyst with the Department of Defense.

He attended St. Johns Catholic Church in Russellville, Ark.

Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Sarah Cheneler Kempker of Russellville, Ark.; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Webb Lorenzen of Le Mars; one brother, Paul Kempker, S.J., of Omaha, Neb.; several nephews and several grand-nephews and nieces.

He was preceded in death by four brothers, Edward, John "Jack", James and Gerald Kempker and one sister, Betty Kempker.

Humphrey Funeral Service of Russellville, Ark., was in charge of cremation.
