Word was received here of the sudden death of a former Akron resident, Mrs. Rose Beeler of Wibaux, Montana on May 31. Funeral services were held on June 3rd at Wibaux Methodist Church, burial was in the Wibaux Cemetery.

Rose Beckman Beeler was born February 7,1901 at Ireton, Iowa. On September 18, 1918 she was married to Emery Beeler at Le Mars, Iowa. They moved to Montana where they made their home. Mr. Beeler died in 1961.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Viola Cowee of Wibaux and Mrs. Shirley Scott of Ismay, Montana; two sons, Elmer of Miles City, Mont and Robert of Baker, Mont.; 17 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Three sisters, Mrs. Min Pollock of Akron, Mrs. Dena Calhoon, Custer, So, Dak. and Mrs. Anna Hartman of Alcester. Three brothers, Henry and Herman both of Akron and Fred of Simi, California.

Those attending the funeral from this area were Mr. and Mrs. Iver Pollock and Mrs. Anna Hartman.
