Mrs. William Harding, 93, Akron, died Tuesday morning, April 13, at the Akron Hospital after a long illness. Funeral services were held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Schroeder Funeral Home with Rev. Ralph Burdette officiating. Burial was in Logan Park Cemetery, Sioux City, under the direction of the Schroeder funeral home, Akron. Pall Bearers were: Donald Langle,Corwin Bauerly, Douglas Harding, Duane Langle, Darwin Bauerly and Wayne McCrill.

The former Katie Parks, she was born in Harrison county July 26,1877. She was married February 2, 1892, in Sioux City. Mr. Harding died in January of 1953. Mrs. Harding moved to Akron in 1949 and entered the Akron nursing home in 1965.

Survivors are four daughters, Mrs. Earnest Shearer and Mrs. Marion Morehead both of Akron, Mrs. Marie Bauerly and Mrs. Florence Morehead, both of Sioux City; two sons, Elmer of Blencoand Waldon of Akron; two sisters, Mrs. Minnie Hardter and Mrs. Mamie Withem, both of Missouri Valley; a brother, Marshall Parks of Onawa; 14 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren.
