Leo B. Wilhelmi, 69, Le Mars, died Sept. 28,1975 at Floyd Valley hospital in Le Mars after an illness of one week.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the Moeller Huneral Home in Remsen with Rev. Thomas Renquist officiating. Burial will be in the Remsen City Cemetery.

Mr. Wilhelmi lived at the Okerstrom Apartments in Le Mars for the last year.

Mr. Wilhelmi was born March 22, 1906, in Elgin Township of Plymouth County. He married Alma Diercksen Feb. 8, 1928, in Remsen. She died Nov. 11,1970.

He was a well driller for the Gus Pech Manufacturing Co. for 45 years before his retirement and was a 50-year member of the Eagles lodge in Le Mars.

Survivors are a son. Lt. Col. S. L. Wilhelmi of Washington, D.C.; a daughter, Mrs. Earl (ValJean) Wiebke of Remsen; 10 grandchildren; a great grandson; a brother, Peter of Struble, and three sisters, Mrs. Alice Borchers of Le Mars, Mrs. Lillian Kruse of Cherokee and Mrs. Katherine Hines of Colorado.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a number of brothers and sisters.
