Mrs. Leo (Alma Louise) Wilhelmi, 61, of Le Mars, died last Wednesday morning at Sioux City St. Luke east hospital after a lingering illness.

Funeral services were held Friday at 11 a.m. at the Moeller Funeral Home, Remsen, with Rev. Paul Wuebben of St. Paul Evangelical Lutheran church, Remsen, officiating. Burial was in the Remsen City Cemetery.

Mrs. Wilhelmi, the former Alma Louise Diercksen, was born February 21,1909, at Remsen, a daughter of the late John Thomas and Margaret Anna Hansen Diercksen. Mrs. Wilhelmi and Leo Wilhelmi, a longtime well driller, were married February 8,1928, at Remsen.

Survivors are her husband, Leo of Le Mars; a son, Lt. Col. S. L. Wilhelmi of Annandale, Va.; a daughter, Mrs. Earl Wiebke of Remsen; six sisters, Mrs. Mary Klingbell of Pierson, Mrs. Lillie Nelson of Cherokee, Mrs. John Klaschen of Kingsley, Mrs. Kate Sanow of Remsen, Mrs. Peter Miller of California and Mrs. Ena Sampson of Akron; two brothers, John Diercksen of Le Mars and Carl Heesch of Marcus and 10 grandchildren.
