EDNA ROLLINS

LE MARS, Iowa—Edna Rollins, 81, of LeMars, died Wednesday in a Sioux City hospital.

Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Calvary United Methodist church in LeMars. The Rev. Kenneth Royar will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Cemetery in LeMars. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today with the family present from 7-8 p.m. in Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.

Mrs. Rollins was born Nov. 21, 1904, in Merrill. She married Frank Rollins Feb. 23, 1921, at South Sioux City. The couple farmed in Plymouth County and moved to LeMars in 1943. She was a longtime clerk at JCPenney Co. He died May 11, 1954.

Mrs. Rollins was a member of Calvary United Methodist church, LeMars Friday Club, BPW Club and CWC.

Survivors include a son, Virgil of Chula Vista, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Louis (Carol) Lemke of Sibley; a sister, Dula Knapp of LeMars; 11 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
