Funeral services for Claus Siebens, Route 6, LeMars, were held at 1:30 p. m. today (Monday) at his farm home, and 2:00 o'clock at the Christ Lutheran church, Grant township. Rev. Eldor Freuhling officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery under the direction of the Mauer funeral home.

Mr. Siebens was born on November 27, 1886, at Minonk, Illinois. He came to Plymouth county at the age of 7, and lived here since. On May 21, 1909, he married Mary Plueger at Preston township. Plymouth county. Although he had been in ailing health lor several years, death came suddenly as the result of a heart attack on Thursday at his farm home. Deceased was 69 years and 11 days old.

Survivors include the widow, four daughters, Mrs. Herman (Minnie) Kruse. Mrs. Hilbert (Anna) Hennigs, Mrs. Otto (Frances) Ludwigs and Mrs. Jack (Rose) Ludwigs all of LeMars; four grandchildren; three sisters. Mrs. Dena Fischer, Mrs. Minnie Borchers and Mrs. John W. Johnson, all of the Le Mars vicinity; and two brothers, Gerd and John Siebens of LeMars.

He was preceded in death by one son, two sisters and his parents. Mr. Siebens was a lifelong member of the Lutheran church, baptized in infancy in Illinois and confirmed at Christ Lutheran church. He was was a former trustee of the Christ Lutheran church council.
