A number from here attended the funeral services Friday morning for Mrs. Philip Garvey at St. Michael's Catholic church In Leeds. Mrs. Garvey
was well known here and had been a pioneer resident in the east part of this township [Perry] for many years.

Mrs. Garvey would have been 75 years old March 17. She died Wednesday morning [March 9, 1932] at her home in Leeds of infirmities attributed to old age.

Survivors are the widower, three sisters, Mrs. Maggie Dorgan, of Adrian, Minn., Mrs. James Robertson and Miss Tille Shyne, three sons, Edward, Fred and William of Sioux City and Mrs. Miles [Mary Ellen (May)] Barrett of this vicinity.
