Peter J. Garvey Passed Away on
Friday At His Home In
Sioux City

Peter J. Garvey, aged 59 years, passed away Friday [January 21, 1938]night at his home in Sioux City following a short sickness.

Mr. Garvey was born October 5, 1878, in Plymouth county, and resided in the Hinton community before moving to Sioux City. Surviving are his mother. Mrs. Anna[Doyle] Garvey, a son, Jack, and a daughter, Joyce all of Sioux City, He
was preceded in death by his wife [Marie K. Muchow and his father Patrick J. Garvey]. Funeral services were held Monday morning from St. Boniface church in Sioux City. [Burial at Calvary Cemetery in Sioux City, IA]
