Grace Elizabeth Lundgren, daughter of David and Freelove Baldwin, was born July 16, 1877. She was the child of pioneer parents, who homesteaded in Fredonia Township. At an early age she moved to the farm home in Fredonia Township in which she lived her entire life. On June 25, 1903, she was united in marriage to Albert Lundgren, who survives her death. This year they celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
To this marriage was born children: Robert, Allen and Gladys Lundgren Harms, all of LeMars and two children who preceded her in death.
Mrs. Lundgren passed away August 15, 1963, following a lingering illness.
Surviving her also her five grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Other members of her immediate family, parents, four brothers and one sister, have preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Seney Methodist church and the Dorcas Ladies Aid Society of Gethsemane Lutheran Church. She a longtime Globe Post correspondent.
Services will be held Saturday, August 17, at 2 p.m. at Mauer Funeral Home in LeMars with interment at the LeMars cemetery. Rev. Milo E. Morris of the Seney Methodist church will officiate.
