Area Deaths. MRS. PETER PETERSEN BURIED AT REMSEN.
Funeral services for Mrs. Peter Petersen, 71, were at 1 p.m. Monday in the Bethlehem Lutheran church at Royal.
Burial was in the Remsen cemetery.
Mrs. Petersen, the former Alma Soe, died Saturday morning, Nov. 25, at a Sioux Valley hospital, Cherokee, following a short illness.
She was born at Latimer, Iowa, Oct. 13, 1896. She was married at Marcus, Feb. 21, 1918, and the couple resided there until 1955, when they moved to a home between Royal and Sutherland.
Survivors are her husband; three sons, Harold of Marcus and Paul and Donald, both at home; and two sisters, Mrs. Nick Kloster of Le Mars and Mrs. Fred Baldwin of Grand Island, Neb. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, Nov. 27, 1967, page 8.
