Remsen Pioneer Dies Saturday. Mrs. Amelia Link, 86, a long-time resident of Remsen, died Saturday and funeral services were held Monday afternoon at Christ Lutheran church, Rev. A. Noack, the pastor, officiating. Her husband, Henry Link, died many years ago. Mrs. Link is survived by four children, one of whom, Mrs. Gus Schluter [Schlutter], lives to miles east of Remsen. – Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel, Feb. 6, 1940, page 1.
