Life’s End. JAKE RAVELING OF REMSEN DEAD; FUNERAL TUESDAY.
Jake Raveling, 76, lifetime resident of Remsen died Sunday morning at Le Mars Sacred Heart hospital after an illness of several months.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul Lutheran church, Remsen. Rev. Paul Wuebben will officiate. Burial will be in the Remsen city cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home.
Mr. Raveling was born March 11, 1895, at Remsen and married Helen Delaney of Omaha, Nov. 5, 1931. He was a retired business man.
Survivors are the widow, one son Jerry of Corvallis, Ore., four sisters and a brother and two grandchildren. – Le Mars Globe-Post, Oct. 18, 1965, page 5.
