Area Deaths. HENRY RAVELING, 76, DIES IN SIOUX CITY.
Henry Raveling, 76, Sioux City, died Saturday at a Sioux City hospital after an illness of about one year.
Mr. Raveling was born Feb. 3, 1887, at Remsen. He lived in Sioux City several years where he was a railroad worker.
Survivors include two brothers, George of Sioux City and Jake of Remsen; four sisters, Mrs. Sieve Wilardson of Cherokee, Mrs. Mary Wulf of Bronson, Mrs. Clara Schmidt or Remsen and Mrs. Hilka Reinkers of Ocheyedan.
Funeral services were at 1:30 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Lutheran church in Remsen Rev. Paul Wuebben, pastor officiating. Burial was in the Remsen cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home. – Le Mars Daily Sentinel, Monday, March 11, 1963, page 6.
