IVER N. JOHNSON was born in Schleswig, Denmark, October 20, 1833, and he died Monday morning May 10, 1920. In the year 1865 he came to America and went to work on a farm close to Urbana, Ohio, where he stayed 3 years; from there he went to Jackson Co., Iowa.

The 17th day of December, 1868, he married Sofia Lund and settled on a small farm where he resided 6 years. In 1875 he moved his family to Plymouth Co., Iowa where he bought a farm and lived 34 years. Four years ago Mr. and Mrs. Johnson came to Kay Co., Oklahoma. He leaves a widow and 3 married daughters, Mrs. Greg Friis, Mrs. Walter Kloster and Mrs. Jacob Bergholt, all residing in Kay. Co, Ok.
