Funeral services for Lucille Eilers, 58, of Arnolds Park, were held Saturday, Jan. 26, 1985, 10:30 a. m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, in Hartley, with Rev. John Schauer officiating. Eilers died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 1985 at Rochester, MN., after a short illness. Mrs. Ray Ahlers, organist, accompanied the congregation as they sang "Abide With Me" and "Rock of Ages." Pallbearers were Gene Sorenson, Wally Towne, Ronald Henning, Ken Vander Sloot, Jerry Roth and Ed Robinson. Interment was in the Pleasant View Cemetery, in Hartley.

Lucille Audrey Eilers, the daughter of Reuben and Emma Goldsbury Stromert, was born Dec. 11, 1926 at Willmar, MN. She graduated from the Willmar High School in 1944. On Feb. 6, 1948 she married Robert Eilers at South Sioux City, NE. They made their home at Willmar, MN., and Ireton, la., until moving to Hartley in 1956. In 1981, they moved to Arnolds Park. Eilers had been manager of the Pro Shop at Woodlyn Hills Golf Course for the past three years.

Survivors include, her husband, Bob; five sons and their wives, Kenneth, and Roxanne of Franklin, MA., Jerry and Jane of Omaha, NE., Ronald and Carole of Lee's Summit, MO., Randall and Mitzi of Hartley and Richard of Hawaii; one daughter and her husband, Marcia and John Korenberg of Clear Lake; eight grandchildren; two brothers. Roy Stromert of Evansville, WA., and Richard Stromert of Vernon, CO.; one sister, Mrs. Robert (Eunice) Smith of Broadus, TX., as well as other relatives and friends
