Robert Warren Eilers, 75, Murrieta, Calif., formerly of Ireton, died Oct. 28, 2000. Funeral service was Saturday, Nov. 4 at Warner Funeral Home in Hartley, Iowa with Pastor David Ericson officiating. Burial was at Pleasant View Cemetery at Hartley. Arrangements by Warner Funeral Home, Hartley.

Robert Warren Eilers, the son of Fred and Frieda (Borchers) Eilers, was born Aug. 8, 1925 in Akron. He received his educa­tion in Ireton, and is a 1942 graduate of Ireton Public School.

He married Lucille Audrey Stromert on Feb. 6, 1948. The couple resided in Ireton, he worked in a retail feed dealer­ship. In 1956 they moved to Hartley, where he established a retail feed dealership and later, Eilers Sports. They moved to Arnold's Park in 1982 where Mrs. Lucille Eilers died, Jan. 22. 1985.

He married Mary Jean (Bertram) Dick on April 17 1993,and resided in Murrieta.

He is survived by his wife, Mary Jean; five sons: Kenneth of Franklin, Mass., Jerry of Salina, Kan., Ronald of Lee's Sum­mit, Mo., Randall of Gladstone, Mo., and Richard of Sierra Vista, Ariz.; one daughter, Marcia Korenberg of Clear Lake Iowa; three stepsons: Lawrence Dick of Acworth, Ga., David, Dick of Sylmar, Calif., and Douglas Dick of Long Beach, Calif, one stepdaughter, Mary Lou Bennett of Sylmar, Calif., ten grandchildren; seventeen step-grandchildren; one great-grand­son; two sisters: Joanne Kloth of LeMars and Elaine Freed of Colorado Springs, Colo.
