DARLEEN JOYCE (BECKER) BARCUS

Mrs. Barcus, 77, died June 9, 2000, at her home in Colorado Springs as a result of cancer. She previously worked for the California Oil Co. in Denver.

Mrs. Barcus was born June 6, 1923, in Brunswick, Neb., to Emil and Lena M. (Eilers) Becker, who are deceased. She was married June 5, 1951, to Lyle Barcus.

She is survived by her husband; a son, Terry; two daughters, Jodean Perry and Gail Wise; and three grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Karen.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd., 634-1597. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday with a luncheon to follow at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 1318 N. Circle Drive. A private entombment will be at Shrine of Remembrance Gate of Heaven Mausoleum.
