Mrs. John Miniets

Mrs. John Miniets, 61, of Akron, died at St. Luke's hospital, Sioux City Tuesday, May 17, of a brief illness.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with the Rev. Durwood Clauson officiating. Burial was in St. John's Lutheran cemetery at Craig.

Mrs. Miniets, the former Lois Boisen, was born June 27, 1915 at Ireton. She was married September 21, 1947 at Ireton. The couple farmed near Akron.

Survivors include her husband John; her mother, Mrs. Hannah Boisen of Hawarden; three brothers; Harvey of Ireton, Glenn of Ruthton, Minn.., and Orin of Hawarden; four sisters, Mrs. Roy (Helen) Abbey, Mrs. Leland (Neva) Kircher and Mrs. Ray (Bernice) Eilts, all of Hawarden and Mrs. Ernest (Ruth) Popken of Le Mars.

She was preceded in death by her farther Will Boisen and a son Dennis. Pallbearers were Delmer Gerrietts, Gail Hemmingsen, Richard Witt, Lee Harris, Stuart Harris, and Gaynor Harris.
