Fred W. Schuette, 88, of Ireton died Friday, April 13, in a Sioux Falls hospital. Services were at 1:30 p. m. Monday in the Plymouth Presbyterian Church, rural Le Mars. The Rev. Earl Underwood Jr. officiated. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Military graveside services were conducted by the American Legion Post in Ireton. A prayer service was conducted at 7:30 p. m. Sunday in the Dow
Funeral Home at Ireton.Mr. Schuette was born Dec. 31, 1890, at Staunton, 111. He married Lillian Morrison Oct. 20, 1917, at Sioux City. Mrs. Schuette died July 17, 1969. Mr. Schuette was a World War 1 veteran and a member of Ireton American Legion and Plymouth Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include three half-brothers, Elmer and Ernest, both of Craig, and Walter of Burbank, Calif.; three half-sisters, Mrs. Carl (Elsie) Pageler of Craig, Mrs. Glen (Edna) House of Bishop, Calif., and Mrs. Lowell (Anna) Marbach of Le Mars.
