Mrs. Melvin (Lu) Hinrichs, 76, Glenview, Illinois., died Saturday, Sept. 29,1990 in an Evanston, Illinois, hospital of a brief illness.

Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at Immanuel Lutheran church in Akron. Pastor Wm. Flemr will officiate.

The former Lu Klemme was born Dec. 13, 1913, in Plymouth County, Akron, Iowa to Edwin and Anna Klemme. She married Melvin Hinrichs June 8, 1935. Mr. Hinrichs died May 1, 1978. She was a member of the Glenview Community church.

Survivors include a daughter, Nancy and her husband, Keith Bagge, a son, Gary Hinrichs and his wife, Ginger, Granada Hills, Calif.; a brother, Walter Klemme and- his wife, Mabel of Akron; a sister-in-law, Fern Klemme, Akron; granddaughters, Courtney and Brittany Bagge of Glenview, III. and Kristin and Tracy Hinrichs of Granada Hills, Calif.; nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband; a son, James; her parents; a brother, Erwin Klemme; and sister-in-law, Clara Klemme.
