NELLIE MAY WOOLWORTH
Nellie May Woolworth, 82, of Sioux City, died Friday, March 23, 2001.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Christy-Smith Morningside Chapel with the Rev. Alex T. Washington officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.
Mrs. Woolworth was born May 16, 1918, in Bronson, Iowa, the daughter of Herman and Helga (Swensen) Sheets. She attended school in Bronson. She married Lawrence Woolworth on Sept. 10, 1938, in Elk Point, S.D. They lived in Sioux City, moved to southern California for a few years and later returned to Sioux City.
Survivors include a daughter and her husband, Geneice and Joe Wagner, of Sioux City; two sons and their wives, Larry and Barbara of Sioux City, and Ronald and Mary of Las Vegas, Nev.; 11 grandchildren, Lisa, Dana, Gina, Lia, Joe III, Lana, Wendy, Kristen, Melissa, Robby and Bryan; 19 great grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Sheets of Sioux City.
She was preceded in death by her husband; two sons, Richard and Michael; a grandson, Randy; and a brother, John F. Sheets.
Pallbearers will be Carey Ford, Joshua Grimsley, Alan Hays, Rex Hofer, Joe Wagner III and Beau Wilshire.
