"Obituary. Mrs. Peter Mullong.
Mrs. Peter Mullong, 85, 5501 Gordon Drive, Sioux City, died Saturday at a nursing home after a long illness.
The former Lucy Nothem, Mrs. Mullong was born Feb 8, 1885, at Koerich, Luxembourg. She came to the Unites States and Remsen in 1905.
She was married to Mr. Mullong Feb 22, 1909, at Sioux City.
The couple farmed in the Remsen and Oyens area until 1924, when they moved to Sioux City. Mr. Mullong died July 5, 1968.
Mrs. Mullong was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic church.
Survivors are nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Immaculate Conception Catholic church.
Rev. Frank J. Brady will offciate and burial will be in Calvary cemetery under direction of the Larkin funeral home.
The rosary will be recited at 7 o'clock Tuesday at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Orville Schuster, Jerry Hoback, Keith NItzschke, and Gerald, Donald and Daryl Genger." - Le Mars Daily Sentinel, Tuesday, February 2, 1971
