"Louis Weber, Former Resident of Fredonia Died in Sioux City. Louis A. Weber, former Plymouth county resident who had lived in Sioux City the past 22 years, died Monday of this week at his home at 3376 Stone Park Blvd.
Louis Weber was born November 11, 1884 on a farm in Fredonia township, the son of Mr. and Mrs. C. L. Weber. He grew up in Fredonia and farmed there 17 years before moving to Sioux City 22 years ago.
He married Celia Mullong who survives him with one daughter, Mrs. June Arney of Sioux City and a granddaughter. Also surviving are a brother, Frank and three sisters, Mrs. Will Reeves, Mrs. Ed Detloff and Mrs. Agnes Ladenberger, all of Le Mars.
Funeral services held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in a Sioux City funeral home were conducted by Rev. John Paul Vincent of the Presbyterian church and burial was in Logan Park cemetery." - Le Mars Semi-Weekly Sentinel, Friday, March 11, 1949.
