WAS PLYMOUTH PIONEER
Mrs. J. J. Moore, of this city, was notified yesterday of the death her brother, Harvey W. Davis, which occurred at Grand Island, Neb. He was seventy years of age. Mr. Davis lived in Union township in pioneer days and was a son of Charles A. Davis, a pioneer Plymouth county resident who was burned to death in a prairie fire in 1876.

Harvey Davis made his home for many years in Aurora, Ill. and later in Nebraska. He is survived by three children. He Is also survived by his brothers, Charles A. Davis, of Tilden, Neb.; George Davis, of Chambers, Neb., and two sisters, Mrs. Charles Ireland, of Bellingham, Wash., and Mrs. J. J. Moore, of LeMars.
The remains will be brought here for burial and the funeral held from the Beely undertaking rooms
Mr. Davis was a civil war veteran.
