Funeral services were held Friday for Mrs. Henry Baack at St. John's Lutheran church in Craig with Rev. W. K. Schmidt officiating with burial in the church cemetery. Mrs. Baack died at her home Tuesday, Dec. 21 after a long illness. Alvina Christine Sophia Schulz was born in Mecklenberg, Germany, May 31, 1876, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Joachin Schulz, coming to Plymouth county when eight years old with her parents and located on a farm two miles west of Craig. She was married to H e n r y Baack April 17, 1895; they celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in 1945. Survivors are the widower, three children, Mrs. Tillie Hanstein and Henry of Struble, William of Luverne, Minn., three brothers and a sister, Paul Schulz of Lone Wolf, Okla., Emil Schulz of Craig, and Will Schulz of Aberdeen, S. D., and Mrs. Albert Winterfield of Craig; also nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren survive.
