Miss Charlotte Held died at St. Bernard's hospital in Council Bluffs on Sunday night after a long illness. She had been in poor health for a long time suffering from a complication of diseases.

The funeral will be held this afternoon at Hinton and the interment made at the Melbourne Cemetery.

Miss Held was born in Melbourne in October, 1863, her father having been one of the very early settlers in Plymouth County. She was a sister of Mrs. John W. Schmidt, of this city, and was related to a number of the pioneer families in Hungerford and Plymouth Townships.
