Held, Caroline 1849 - 1931

Caroline Held, pioneer resident of Hinton vicinity, passed away at her home near Hinton Saturday morning at the advanced age of 81 years, 3 months and 22 days. Bronchial pneumonia was the cause of her death,

The funeral was held this afternoon at 2 o'clock from the Hinton Church and burial made in the Melbourne Cemetery, Beely's Funeral directors in charge.

Deceased was born in Pomeroy, Ohio, on December 26, 1849, and had lived In this county for many years. She leaves nine children to mourn her loss, who are: G. E . Held, P. E Elmer, Albert, Fred, Ben, Walter, Margaret and Carrie.

Mrs. Held was one of the pioneers of this county and her death is mourned by her many friends, who enjoyed her friendship.
