Harry A. Hillrichs, 68, Le Mars, died February 20, 1976 of an apparent heart attack while vacationing in Weslaco, Texas.

Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at Grace Lutheran church in Le Mars. The Rev. James Rassbach officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery in Akron under the direction of Schroeder Funeral Home of Akron.

Mr. Hillrichs was born Feb. 5,1908 in Preston township, rural Akron. He was baptized in 1908 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Preston township, and on April 9, 1922 was confirmed in the Lutheran faith in the same, church. He married Mabel Friske Hillrichs March 20, 1952 in Akron. They farmed in the Akron area until his retirement in 1971. The Hillrichs moved to Le Mars that year.

Survivors include the widow; two daughters, Mrs. William (Joann) Dolan of Beresford, S. D., and Mrs. Roger(Darlis) Nielsen of Akron; a son, Gary of Akron; two sisters, Mrs. Mina Peters and Mrs. Emma Andresen, both of Akron, and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Myna Schmidt Hillrichs; six brothers, Reinhard, Henry, John, Fred, Ben, and Edwin; one sister, Mrs. Anna Barinsky, and one grandchild Rusty Lee Hillrichs.
