Merrill Record: Robert Wilbur Semple, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Semple, passed away early Sunday morning. February 13, following an illness of several month of whooping cough from which he never fully recovered.

He was born at Sioux City on June 7, 1925.

The funeral was held from the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Morehead, on Tuesday and was in charge of Rev. L.A. Fleming, of the Adaville U. B. Church. Burial was in the church cemetery.
