Funeral services for Mrs. Rose May Bennett, 84, who died Wednesday at a Le Mars hospital were at 2 p. m. Saturday at the Wesley Methodist church. Rev. C. L. Gunn officiated. and burial was in the Akron Riverside cemetery. She had been sick seven weeks. The Lewison funeral home directed services.

Mrs. Bennett, who lived most of her life in the Akron area, was born February 25, 1872, in Union County. S. D. She was married to William Bennett. May 12, 1891, at Akron. Mr. Bennett died in 1943.

Survivors are three daughters. Miss Murel of Akron, Mrs. C. L. Lewison, Sr. Akron, and Mrs. Cecile Strong of Rockford III.; two brothers. C. P. Knapp and Clarence Knapp, both of Westfield,; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
