Mrs. Harriet Pearson died at the home of her son, Ira Pearson, Tuesday, April 15, at the age of over 90 years. The deceased has lived in Plymouth County many years and was known by a large number of friends in this part of the county.

Death due to infirmities of age, claimed Mrs. Harriet Pearson, a resident of Plymouth County for sixty years, Tuesday, April 15, at the farm near Hinton, where she had lived ever since coming to Iowa, and settling on a farm in Hungerford Township.
She was born in Jo Davies County, Illinois and was 90 years, 4 months, and 12 days old at the time of her death.
She is survived by two sons, W. G. Pearson, of Sioux City, and Ira L. Pearson, with whom she lived on the home farm, and one daughter, Mrs. J.P. Jensen of Bengrough, Saskatchewan, Canada.
Mrs. Pearson was widely known and esteemed especially among the older settlers. She was a subscriber and reader of the Le Mars Sentinel since the first issue of the paper, published by J. C. Buchanan in 1870.
