Pearson, Ira 1833 - 1917

Ira Pearson, a resident of Plymouth County for forty-seven years, died on his farm home, two miles of Hinton, of dropsy and heart trouble after an illness of about a year He was 84 years old.

Mr. Pearson was born in Massachusetts, and emigrated with his parents to Wisconsin, where he married before coming to Plymouth County. During his residence here he had acquired a large quantity of rich farming land, which now is being tilled by his sons or had been farmed under his personal supervision. Unlike many retired fanners Pearson continued his residence on his farm and lived in a small cottage with Mrs. Pearson.

Surviving Mr. Pearson are his widow and four children—Walter G. Pearson, Ira L. Pearson. Calvin H. Pearson and Mrs. Hattie Jensen, who lives in Canada.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday. Burial will be in the Adaville Cemetery.
