Note: It says she was buried in Riverside but she is actually buried with her grandparents in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Adaville.

Stephanie Osterhaus, 36, of Akron, died Wednesday, Jan. 20, 1993 at Marian Health Center in Sioux City.

Memorial services were held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 23 at the First Baptist Church in Akron. Rev. Fred Penner officiated with burial in the Riverside Cemetery in Akron at a later date, under direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home, in Le Mars.

Mrs. Osterhaus, the former Stephanie Young, was born July 2, 1956 in Sioux City. She was the daughter of Charles and Kathy (Chamberlain) Young. She attended school in Minneapolis, Minn, area, and then lived for a time in California. She returned to Minnesota and married Jim Osterhaus Sept. 11, 1973. She lived in the Minneapolis area until June 1991, when she moved to Akron.

She is survived by a son Jay Osterhaus of Minneapolis; her mother, Kathy Chamberlain Talley of Homeland, Calif. and her father, Charles Young of Rockford, Ill.; two brothers, Brad Young of Chino, Calif, and Greg Young of Rockford, Ill., and a sister, Danielle Young of Rockford, Ill.; and her paternal grandmother, Ina Young of Akron.

She was preceded in death by her two grandfathers and a Grandmother.
