Mrs. Henry Lubben, 94, Le Mars, died Monday (April 20, 1987) in Brentwood Good Samaritan Center in Le Mars. Services will be held at 10:30 a. m. Thursday in St. John's American Lutheran church in Le Mars. The Rev. David Kramer will officiate. Burial will be in Christ Lutheran cemetery in rural Le Mars, under direction of Mauer-Johnson funeral home in Le Mars.
Mrs. Lubben, the former Mary Ommen was born July 10,1892 in Grant township, Plymouth county, Iowa. She married Henry Lubben Feb. 19, 1914 in Grant township. The couple farmed in the Le Mars area until retiring to Le Mars. Mr. Lubben died in 1979. She had lived at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center since 1980. Mrs. Lubben was a member of St. John's American Lutheran church in Le Mars.
Survivors include five daughters, Mrs. Gert (Helen) Haage, Mrs. Simon (Marie) DeBoom, Mrs. B. R. (Lois) Winecoff, and Mrs. Lester (Edna) Johnson, all of Le Mars and Mrs. Elmer (Alice) Pearson of Denver, Colo.; two sisters, Anna Oltmanns and Lena Foxen, both of Le Mars; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Lubben was the aunt of Mrs. Gerald (Bernice) Henrich of Akron
